Our Mission: To educate people on littering and help stop it.

The reason I decided to start this mission of educating people about how important keeping our environment clean is because we only have one EARTH and it needs to be cared for by us. 

As I was playing at my school playground, I noticed how much trash was around me and I thought "this is messy" so I decided to start picking it up. I've done it everyday since. Friends quickly noticed what I was doing and too decided they wanted to help. Soon after, I decided to run for Environmental Marshall with our school council and won!

I've quickly noticed the power of influence we can have on others and the positive impact we can have on our planet. We have found creative ways to make litter clean up fun.  One of the playful ways that we encourage students at my school to participate is by having a competition of "find of the day".  What it entails is if you see something on the ground that is useful or really cool, you can show your friends and tell them that you found the "find of the day", but if they find something cooler, then they now have the find of the day.
